Bindings that let go when they should

Your bindings are the one part of your setup that protects your knees. We mount them, set them to you and test them before they leave the bench.

How your setting is worked out

Five things decide your DIN

Your release value isn't a guess. It comes from the industry chart, using these five things about you and your gear.

Weight

The biggest single factor.

Height

Used with weight on the chart.

Age

Younger and older skiers get lower settings.

Boot sole

Length in mm, printed on your boot heel.

Skier type

Cautious, moderate or aggressive.

Before you come in

What to bring

  • Your ski boots. We can't set or test bindings without them.
  • Your height and weight. Honest numbers keep you safe.
  • How you ski. Groomers at an easy pace, or charging steeps.
  • Kids' gear too. Kids outgrow boots fast, so check their settings every season.

We can only work on bindings that are still supported by their manufacturer. If yours are too old, we'll tell you at the counter.
